    • Author Scott Kiesel is a financial advisor by day and aspiring children’s book author by night. He is married to his lovely wife Laura and are proud parents and grandparents. Scott felt inspired to make a positive difference by teaching kids the importance of lost words through Zip and his dog Phoebe. It is important to Kiesel to give back to the community and is using this book series to do just that.

    • Caroline States is an artist and illustrator currently based out of Chicago, IL. In her illustrative work, she likes to draw inspiration from traditional art media and likes for each of her illustrations to have a whimsical, handmade quality. She’s drawn to bright colors and emotional lighting. She’s also the illustrator of Big by Kim Noller, and is currently working on developing her own illustration studio where she will sell prints of her art.
